Terms of use

These terms govern your use of the ikuida app and the ikuida.com website, provided by Aurexis LLC (30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA). By creating your account you accept them. Please read them together with the privacy policy.

1. What ikuida is

ikuida is a tool for several people to organize and share the day-to-day care of someone who needs it: meals, medication, wound care, hygiene, company and visits, with reminders on the phone.

2. ikuida is not a medical service

ikuida is not a medical device and does not replace the advice of a doctor, nurse, pharmacist or other professional. It gives no medical guidance and does not check that medication or doses are correct: it only reminds you of what the group enters.

Don't use ikuida for emergencies. In an emergency, call your local emergency services.

Reminders depend on the phone, its settings and the connection, and may be delayed or not arrive. Don't rely on them alone for critical care.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for what is done with it.
• Use a name your group will recognize, and don't pretend to be someone else.

4. Groups and people cared for

• Whoever creates a group is its admin: they can add and remove people cared for, invite caregivers and remove them. The other members can add, complete and change tasks, and leave the group whenever they want.
• If the admin deletes their account, the group passes to the longest-standing member, who becomes the new admin. A paid plan belongs to whoever pays for it: if the group changes admin, it goes back to the free plan until the new admin subscribes.
• Everything entered in a group is visible to all its members. Only invite people you trust.
• If you enter data about the person you care for, you confirm that you have their permission or are their legal representative.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use ikuida for anything illegal, to harm others, to store content you don't have the right to share, or to try to access other groups' data or interfere with how the app works. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

6. Your content

What you write and the photos you upload remain yours. You give us permission to store them and show them to your group only to make the app work. Care tasks are deleted automatically after 30 days, as the privacy policy explains.

7. Price

ikuida is currently free. Later there may be paid plans with more features. If they come, we'll tell you the price first and will never charge you without your agreement.

8. Changes and end of service

We may improve, change or stop offering features. If we decide to shut down ikuida, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice so you can save what you need.

9. Warranties and liability

ikuida is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to keep it working well and without interruptions, but we can't guarantee it.

To the extent permitted by law, Aurexis LLC is not liable for indirect damages, or for damages resulting from using ikuida instead of professional advice, from reminders that don't arrive, or from what group members write. Nothing in these terms limits the consumer rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming (USA), without prejudice to any more favorable consumer protection rules of your country of residence.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change them, we'll update the date above and, if the change is significant, let you know in the app before it takes effect.
